The Geumwonsan Ecological Arboretum, renowned for its vivid autumn foliage, announced that late October to early November is an ideal time for nature lovers to experience its peak colors.

Thanks to the mountain’s year-round flowing streams and high humidity, Geumwonsan boasts rich and vibrant autumn hues, with red maples, Japanese larch, yellow ginger trees, and birch trees creating a breathtaking display.

This season, despite initial concerns that fluctuating temperatures might impact the foliage, periodic autumn rain has helped sustain the leaves’ colors, allowing the forest to transform into a canvas of radiant reds, oranges, and yellows.
