Changwon Special City is set to host the 5th Snowy Changdong Street Snow Flower Festival, transforming the Changdong intersection area of Masan Happo-gu into a winter wonderland every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through December 29.

For 24 days, residents and visitors can enjoy a festive display that lights up the night and captures the magic of winter in Changwon.

Aiming to offer a unique winter experience, the event brings artificial snow and dazzling lights to the streets of Changdong, where natural snowfall is rare due to Changwon’s mild winter climate.

Every evening during the festival, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., artificial snow will fall on the hour, creating a snow-dusted scene for 15 minutes at a time.

Beyond the snowfall, Changdong Street will be filled with winter-themed sculptures, including playful polar bears and cheerful snowmen, forming ideal photo spots for families, couples, and friends to capture memorable moments.
