One Mount Snow Park is one of the hottest winter family destinations in Korea. Themed after the Finnish Santa Claus Village, this winter wonderland is a sledding paradise for children, who can choose from a variety of unique sleds (some with wheels) - shopping cart sleds, bicycle sleds, kart sleds, seal sleds - to ride on ice in an indoor rink. And there is also a 110-meter-long ramp/slide outside that you can ride down on large rubber tubes.

In addition to sledding, spectacular shows are held at the ice rink throughout the day. Children will be captivated by aurora, bubble and snow shows. If you want to give your children some winter fun, One Mount Snow Park is a great place to make that happen.

Indoor snow park

The Santa Village ice rink allows you to enjoy various activities, including sleigh riding, skating, and the aurora, bubble and snow shows. The admission fee gives you access to all the sleds and a merry-go-round that is also inside. There is also a special slide sled for children under 120 cm. For an additional 5,000 won, you can rent ice skates.

Shows run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends, starting every hour. The aurora show (noon and 3 p.m.) is incredibly beautiful, so be sure not to miss it.

Outdoor sledding area

After enjoying the indoor activities, head to the third floor, which is connected to the 110-meter-long slide that you ride down on large rubber tubes. Since the tubes are quite big, children under 100 cm must ride with a guardian. Please note that this area closes 30 minutes earlier than other places at the park. On weekends, you may have to wait for more than 30 minutes to ride it due to long lines, so give yourself plenty of time.

Santa Claus Village photo zone

The entrance on the second floor has a splendid Santa Claus Village photo zone that immediately captures visitors’ attention, so don’t forget to create beautiful winter memories with your family! The park becomes very busy in the afternoon, so it is recommended to explore the photo zone after fully enjoying sledding attractions first.

Tips

  • You can get a stamp to exit the park and come back. Since there is a shopping mall right next to it, having a meal outside is a good option.

  • Parking is free for 5 hours, and if purchasing something at the mall, combine the receipt for more discounts.

  • Since it is a famous winter spot, on weekends try to enter the park when it opens. Visiting on weekdays is recommended if possible.

  • If you arrive in the afternoon on the weekend and find it difficult to enter because it’s too crowded, tickets can be refunded immediately. If this happens, you can enjoy the aquarium located right next to the park.

  • Bring winter gloves, and waterproof jackets and pants are recommended. Some hand warmers can also be useful.

  • To pull the sled for your kids, bringing a strap may help when dragging the sleds.

  • Visitors can enjoy the facilities with regular shoes. However, high-heeled shoes are not recommended.
