Sledding is a great winter activity for families since it's safe, enjoyable and requires no special clothing or equipment. Simply visit one of the many sledding spots and have a blast in the snow! Here are fun and affordable sledding fields near Camp Humphreys, Osan Air Base and bases in Daegu.
Recommended items to bring: Waterproof jackets and pants, thick socks, winter gloves, spare clothes (after sledding in snow), sports shoes (some places may prohibit Crocs, sandals or any slippery shoes), hand warmers (can be purchased at convenient stores)
Famous amusement parks for sledding: Everland, Yongin Korean Folk Village, and E-World (Visitors with a day pass can also use the snow sledding area as one of attractions of theme parks.)
Mt. Moobong Youth Camp (무봉산 수련원)
This camp has separate slopes for adults and children and is only a 20-minute drive from Osan Air Base. It's a beloved destination for many Pyeongtaek residents for a light winter family outing at an affordable price. The parking is spacious and free of charge, and there is a small snack shop inside.

Anseong Matchum Land (안성맞춤랜드)
Anseong Matchum Land is a wonderful spot for family outings, featuring various destinations including campsites, swimming pool during the summer, and a year-round sledding hill. Sledding operates at a very affordable price, and it has a large snow hill that is enjoyable for both kids and adults. Free parking and a small snack shop are also available.

Anseong Farmland (안성팜랜드)
Anseong Farmland is a famous family-friendly spot in Korea. During the winter, you can enjoy snow sledding here! Anyone who pays the entrance fee can use the sledding field without extra fees. This spot has a relatively smaller sledding area compared to the others mentioned above, so it’s great for children under 10 years of age. In addition to sledding, you can also enjoy ice fishing (extra fee: 5,000 won). There are restaurants and cafés inside or pack a lunch to enjoy it on the premises. Parking is free.

Cheongdo Gunbulro (청도 군불로)
This theme village is a place where you can enjoy sledding as well as sauna, BBQ parties and other winter activities. Nestled in the mountains, Cheongdo Gunbulro is a great place to enjoy the winter scenery amidst nature. The sledding field is mainly for children, and there is a snow play area, too. For an extra 5,000 won, kids can also try ice fishing. Sledding tickets can be purchased on-site, but other options such as accommodation, sauna facilities, and BBQ packages can be reserved by phone or Naver. There are restaurants and a small snack shop, but outside food is not allowed. There is free parking.

This beautiful garden-themed park is a great year-round destination where you can enjoy a variety of gardens including a Dinosaur-themed one. During the winter, visitors can try various activities like snow tube sledging, play in a snow playground, and go ice fishing with the package ticket for the snow area. Free parking is available. Outside food is not allowed.

This complex leisure space in Waegwan mainly operates a golf course and glamping site, but during the winter they open a snow sledding field, too. The admission ticket allows you to enjoy not only sledding but also bumper boats and bumper cars. There are additional activities such as roasting chestnuts and ice fishing with extra fees. Visitors are required to wear gloves and sports shoes for sledding. Parking is free. Outside food is prohibited, but there are on-site restaurants and cafes.
