Yangsan City will open free water parks at Hwangsan Park, Design Park, and Myeongdong Park this July to provide residents with a way to cool off during the summer months.

The water parks at Design Park and Myeongdong Park will run from July 11 to August 24, while the one at Hwangsan Park will operate from July 18 to August 24.

All three locations will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with scheduled closures for maintenance, Thursdays for Design and Myeongdong Parks and Mondays for Hwangsan Park.

Hwangsan Park will feature the largest setup, with inflatable slides, water buckets, rollers, pedal boats, and tunnel fountains installed in a riverside setting along the Nakdong River. Its proximity to a campground, mini train, and playground makes it especially attractive for families.

Design Park’s facilities include two water play sets, water buckets, and showers, along with shaded rest areas.

Myeongdong Park, in Ungsang, will offer a larger water slide and activity structures, catering to children who enjoy more energetic play.

To ensure public safety, the city will station trained safety personnel and conduct routine water quality checks and equipment inspections throughout the season.
