Lotte Duty Free is strengthening its K-food and local product lineup at Gimhae Airport with the launch of new specialty items and souvenir shops.

On August 15, the company introduced “Busan Sand,” a butter cookie filled with salted caramel inspired by the Busan sea breeze.

Developed through the Korea Airports Corporation’s airport specialty product program, the snack is designed to capture the city’s identity while appealing to travelers with its long 12-month shelf life.

In addition, the “Boogie Shop” opened at Gimhae Airport on August 7. Operated in partnership with the Busan Tourism Organization, the shop offers around 300 Busan-themed products from 30 local vendors, highlighting the region’s culture and tourism appeal.

Lotte Duty Free aims to position itself as a place for experiencing Busan’s distinctive flavors and souvenirs.
