Spring has arrived at Gimhae Citizen’s Forest, bringing with it the breathtaking bloom of over 100 magnolia trees.

Known as one of Gimhae’s most famous spots for viewing magnolias, the forest transforms into a sea of pure white blossoms each year, attracting numerous visitors.

According to Gimhae City, the magnolias are expected to reach full bloom during the end of the second week of March.

To ensure a pleasant experience for visitors, the city will implement temporary management measures from March 10 to 23.

These measures include the installation of convenience facilities, parking guidance, and on-site monitoring to minimize congestion and inconvenience.

During this period, temporary parking areas will be set up in three designated zones:

Parking Lot 1 – Green area next to the magnolia forest

Parking Lot 2 – Farm road near Parking Lot 1

Parking Lot 3 – Agricultural Technology Center farm road leading to Bonggokcheon Road

To accommodate the growing number of visitors, the city will also install photo zones and portable restrooms, while staff will be deployed to manage the flow of visitors.

Gimhae Citizen’s Forest is home to 105 magnolia trees and 125 plum trees, making it a popular springtime destination. In recent years, the site has gained even more popularity through social media, drawing increasing numbers of visitors eager to enjoy the stunning combination of magnolia and plum blossoms.
