Jun. 21 Sangju Silver Sand Festival postponed indefinitely due to rain forecast

The Sangju-myeon Residents’ Autonomy Council and the Sangju Silver Sand Festival Organizing Committee have announced the indefinite postponement of the 2025 Sangju Silver Sand Festival, originally scheduled for Saturday, June 21.
The festival was set to include activities such as barefoot walking along Sangju Silver Sand Beach, sand sculpture and castle building, water leisure experiences, local singing contests, and traditional village games.
However, organizers decided to delay the event in light of the expected rain, with a new date to be determined later.
