This October and November, Seoul is launching a special campaign titled “Seoul and Local Regions Together – Autumn Festival Edition,” promoting 35 fall festivals across the country.
The initiative, which introduces a diverse range of events from around South Korea, aims to encourage tourism and support local economies by showcasing various regional attractions, foods, and cultural heritage.
Highlights include the Namhansanseong Cultural Festival in Gwangju (October 3-6), Jeonju Festa 2024 (October 3-26), Andong International Mask Dance Festival (September 27-October 6), Jinju Namgang Lantern Festival (October 5-20), Gangneung Coffee Festival (October 24-27), and Masan Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival (October 26-November 3).
Seoul will promote these events through its media platforms, including subway ads and public bulletin boards, throughout October.
The campaign, initiated during the August National Local Government Public Relations Workshop, is part of a larger effort to support regional areas facing economic challenges
