Starting March 21, Seoul will host a series of nighttime media art exhibitions at three urban platforms: Seoul Media Canvas, Atelier Gwanghwa, and Haechimadang Media Wall.
Open daily from 6 to 11 p.m., these venues will present a curated selection of works by established and emerging domestic and international artists.
Atelier Gwanghwa, featuring a large-scale media facade on the Sejong Center’s exterior, is set to begin its institution-linked exhibition on March 31, displaying nine artworks by mid-career creators.
Haechimadang Media Wall — a 53-meter-long LED display spanning from Gwanghwamun Plaza to Haechimadang — will also debut new content on March 31, showcasing 3D pieces, curated selections by professional artists, and interactive seasonal works.
Seoul Media Canvas, installed at Manlidong Plaza using a glass LED canvas, will feature collaborative projects including a series of exhibitions in partnership with the Korean Society of Visual Media Art.
Since opening, these platforms have collectively exhibited over 919 artworks, with visitor satisfaction exceeding 90%.
