(Waterfront Sports Center at Nanji Hangang Park)
Starting May 1, the Seoul Water Sports Center officially opens at Nanji Hangang Park, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy kayaking, dinghy sailing, windsurfing, and more without leaving the city.
As part of the “Great Hangang Project,” this marks Seoul’s first comprehensive waterfront facility designed to promote water leisure activities.
Located downstream from World Cup Bridge, the center features a 338-square-meter marina equipped to dock up to 84 vessels and store over 130 non-motorized watercraft, including kayaks and sailboats.
It also includes facilities such as changing rooms, showers, and a support center. Open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (closed Mondays), water sports are permitted until 30 minutes before sunset.
Programs include kayak rides for all ages, dinghy sailing for teens and above, and team-based keelboat experiences. All activities begin with professional safety training.
Reservations are accepted on-site or via phone, with online booking through Naver launching mid-May. For more information, visit hangang.seoul.go.kr.
