Seoul City will launch the 2025 Hangang Spring Festival from May 16 to 18, marking the seasonal start of its year-round Hangang Festival series under the theme “Excitement on the Han River.”

Held across parks including Ttukseom, Yeouido, and Banpo, the festival offers a wide range of family-friendly and cultural events. Highlights include the Hangang Starlight Theater at Ttukseom, where families can experience an immersive Wizard of Oz-themed performance and parade, and Jeongseon Arirang in Seoul at Yeouido, which reimagines the historical rafting routes and songs of the Joseon era.

Banpo’s Sebitseom will host silent DJ parties and yoga sessions using wireless headsets, while also offering water leisure experiences like kayaking and yacht rides, along with Han River-view dining, all available at discounted rates. Pre-registration for some events is available online via Silent Disco Korea and other platforms.

Special programs such as UNICEF’s Healing Pharmacy, eco-friendly activities like Hangang Drawing & Plogging, and traditional food and game booths will also be featured. The city encourages visitors to use public transportation due to expected crowds.

More information is available on the official festival website (festival.seoul.go.kr/hangang) and social media.
