Busan’s autumn nights will come alive once again with the “2024 Starry Sea Busan Night Market,” taking place from September 21 to October 13.
This year’s event will be hosted at the scenic Hwamyeong Ecological Park, surrounding the lotus pond and Golden Sunset Bridge. The market promises a delightful fusion of nature, culture, and local flavors, creating an unforgettable evening atmosphere.
First introduced last year, the night market quickly became a beloved event, leading to its return with an even richer lineup of activities.
The market will be open on nine select days: September 21-22, 28-29, October 5-6, and October 11-13, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., inviting visitors to enjoy the beautiful blend of Busan’s autumn scenery and nighttime festivities.
One of the main attractions of the event is the traditional liquor pop-up store, which will showcase Busan’s finest traditional liquors along with renowned beverages from across the country.
Visitors can also enjoy a special pop-up booth where cocktails made from traditional spirits will be served.
The food market, offering an array of local culinary delights, adds to the charm, with guests able to relax and enjoy their food while taking in the breathtaking sunset and nighttime views from designated romantic spots around the park.
The market also offers a wide variety of interactive experiences, suitable for all ages.
Attendees can try their hand at traditional liquor making, participate in children’s cooking classes, or engage in wellness activities such as sunset yoga and barefoot walking (earthing). These activities provide a unique way to connect with the natural surroundings while enjoying a peaceful autumn evening.
For added convenience, the event will also partner with Busan’s “Dongbaek Taxi” service, offering discount coupons to those who purchase traditional liquors at the pop-up booths. This gesture ensures a comfortable experience for tourists attending the night market.
