The 19th Admiral Yi Sun-sin Cup National Windsurfing Competition will take place from September 6 to 7 at Suryuk and Hae-suyuk Beaches.
Hosted by Tongyeong City and organized by the Tongyeong Yachting Association, the event pays tribute to Admiral Yi Sun-sin’s maritime spirit and determination.
It is now recognized as one of Korea’s leading windsurfing festivals, drawing athletes from across the country.
The competition features four categories: Windfoil, Mixed Open, Fun & Formula, and Team Events. Among them, the windfoil category is expected to be a highlight, combining technical difficulty with thrilling speed to captivate both participants and spectators.
