Free Bird Safari Tour Bus

(Ulsan City)

Ulsan City and the Taehwagang Ecological Tourism Council will operate a free Ulsan Bird Safari Tour Bus from June 1 to July 31, running Wednesday through Sunday each week.

The tour explores 20 birdwatching hotspots across the Taehwagang, Dongcheon, and Hoeya Rivers.

Each location features signboards with QR codes that provide bird identification tools and images of local species, allowing participants to access real-time and historical bird data via their phones.

Daily themed tours include:

Wednesday: Dongcheon Bird Safari

Thursday: Daewangam & Seoldo Coastal Bird Safari

Friday: Taehwagang Estuary Bird Safari

Saturday: Seonbawi Area Bird Safari

Sunday: Full-day Hoeya River Safari, ending with a visit to the Ulju Folk Museum

Programs run twice daily at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., except Sundays at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m..

Open to participants aged 5 and older, registration is required via www.taehwariver-ecotourism.kr and limited to 12 people per session.
