In Gaecheon-myeon’s Wolgok Village, Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam, thousands of willow dandelions are in full bloom, transforming the area into a stunning purple landscape each June.

The village fields now resemble a watercolor painting, attracting visitors in search of peace and natural beauty.

A newly installed photo zone at the village entrance has become a popular spot for capturing scenic moments, with the vibrant purple flower path blending harmoniously with the surrounding mountains.

Beyond the flowers, Wolgok is also emerging as part of a broader eco-tourism course. Just a 10-minute drive away, Yeonhwasan Provincial Park offers forest trails, unique rock formations, and serene valleys, making it a favorite for hikers and families.

Within the park lies Okcheonsa Temple, a tranquil, thousand-year-old Buddhist temple known for its calm atmosphere, perfect for a day of reflection.

Together, the willow blooms, park, and temple form a peaceful summer destination for healing and relaxation.
