The city of Busan held a tasting event at Lavals Hotel in Yeongdo-gu last night, showcasing Season 2 of the “Busan Food (B-Food) Recipe” series, featuring 25 newly developed dishes that highlight Busan’s local ingredients and culinary stories.
Over 30 officials, including representatives from the Busan City Council, Tourism Association, local universities, and renowned chefs, attended the event to sample these innovative recipes.
Created as part of Busan’s initiative to brand the city as a “gourmet destination,” the dishes were crafted by a team of food experts and chefs, who conducted extensive research into local ingredients.
This season’s recipes include a range of courses like rice, noodles, soups, and desserts, each with its own unique story and flavor profile.
The tasting menu featured a curated “Busan Hospitality” table, allowing attendees to sample twelve specially prepared side dishes.
The city plans to promote these new recipes through social media and make them available at hotels and restaurants.
