On November 3, the city of Seoul held an event to honor the prestigious “2024 Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants” awards.

The gathering featured renowned chefs, including Chef Ahn Sung-jae, recipient of the “Chefs’ Choice Award,” along with Chefs Kang Seung-won and Bae Kyung-jun, who prepared a unique fine-dining menu for lucky diners.

Guests enjoyed an exceptional culinary experience with dishes crafted by some of Korea’s top culinary talents, overlooking views of the Han River.

The “Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants” is an internationally respected culinary event, similar in prestige to the Michelin Guide, where culinary experts and celebrated chefs from across the globe gather to recognize the top 50 restaurants in Asia.

This year, four Korean restaurants made it into the top 50—Mingles (13th), Seventh Door (18th), Onjium (21st), and Mosu (41st)—with a total of nine Korean restaurants in the top 100.
