The 29th Busan International Film Festival has revealed the ticket reservation schedule.

Firstly, tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies will open on Friday, September 20 at 2 p.m.

In its sixth year, the Asia Content Awards & Global OTT Awards, which has expanded its scope beyond Asia to include outstanding TV, OTT, and online content worldwide, will also open ticket reservations simultaneously.

Except for the opening and closing films, ticket reservations for the general screenings of the 29th Busan International Film Festival will begin on Tuesday, September 24, at 2 p.m.

RM: Right People, Wrong Place, which has been selected for the Open Cinema, will have its tickets open earlier at 10 a.m. on the same day.

Reservations can be made online through the Busan International Film Festival ticket reservation site.

Tickets for films not sold out online or those with cancellations will also be available for purchase on-site.

In addition, tickets for the closing film Spirit World, six films in the On Screen section, seven films in the Open Cinema section, and the Asia Content Awards & Global OTT Awards can also be purchased through the BNK Mobile Banking app.

The 29th Busan International Film Festival opens grandly with actors Park Boyoung and Ahn Jaehong as opening ceremony hosts.

Moreover, actors Sul Kyung-gu, Park Boyoung, Hwang Jung-min, and Chun Woo-hee will interact with the audiences through the Actors’ House.

Miguel Gomes, who won Best Director at the Cannes Film Festival 2024, and actor Zhou Dongyu, among other prominent Korean and Asian guests who have garnered international acclaim, are expected to appear.

The festival features a diverse lineup, showcasing everything from new works by acclaimed filmmakers to unique projects by emerging directors shaping the Asian film scene.

p!tt GROUND, known for offering a wide variety of merchandise celebrating the Busan International Film Festival, will once again feature an extensive selection of merch. This year will also promise to provide the audience with exciting attractions and events.

– All seats are sold via online reservation

– Tickets for films not sold out online will also be available for purchase on-site

* Tickets sold out online will not be available on-site

– Limit of 2 tickets per person per screening

– At the BIFF ticket office, you can exchange a mobile ticket for a paper ticket

– Entry can be quicker and more convenient with a mobile ticket

Ticket Cancellation and Refund

– Ticket cancellations and refunds can be processed online or at the BIFF ticket office

– Cancellations and refunds are available until 30 minutes prior to the film.

Cancellation Fee Information

– Before festival opening (Until Oct 1 (Tues)): No cancellation fee

– During the festival period (Oct 2 (Wed) ~ Oct 11 (Fri)): Cancellation fee of 1,000 KRW per ticket.

* Partial cancellation is not allowed; you must cancel the entire reservation and make a new one

* Card used for payment required when canceling or refunding tickets purchased at the BIFF ticket office

* However, if the film festival changes or cancels the screening schedule, cancellations and refunds can be made within the festival period without any fee.
