Busan Port’s Pier 1 has been transformed into a European-style harbor town as it hosts Port Village Busan, a large-scale food and lifestyle festival organized by Busan Tourism Organization and Foodtravel Inc., and directed by Market Chango and Market Um.

Expanding on the popularity of last winter’s Christmas Village Busan, the spring edition, which is underway through Sunday, returns with a festival eight times larger in scale, covering over 14,000 square meters.

The venue recreates a European harbor village inside the old pier warehouse, while an open-air ocean terrace offers food, drinks, and performances with a view of the sea.

More than 1,500 seats will be set up, catering to families, couples, and groups of friends.

The event focuses on global food and lifestyle, featuring over 60 food and beverage brands and 50 lifestyle vendors in areas like fashion, crafts, and home goods.

Many of the participating names are known for attracting long queues, making this a rare chance to sample a wide variety of international cuisine and design.

Organizers emphasize that the festival is more than a market, it’s designed to offer the feel of an overseas trip within the city, leveraging Busan’s maritime backdrop and local creativity.

Pets are welcome, and the nearby waterfront park provides additional space for strolling and relaxation.
