Geoje launches expanded mobile stamp tour to boost summer tourism

Geoje City will run a special Mobile Stamp Tour Event from July 5 to July 31, aiming to attract summer vacationers and support local businesses, especially around beaches and traditional markets.
This seasonal promotion coincides with the opening of the city’s beaches and offers visitors a fun way to explore Geoje while earning rewards. Tourists can collect digital stamps using the mobile app Stamp Tour (THATZIT) by visiting designated locations and completing GPS check-ins.
Building on the existing ‘Geoje 9 Scenic Spots’ tour, which includes highlights like Haegumgang, Windy Hill, Oedo Botania, and Geoje POW Camp Historic Park, the city is adding 21 new stamp zones.
These include 16 summer beaches and 5 traditional markets, expanding the experience across more of the city’s coastal and cultural sites.
Newly added stamp locations include:
Wahyun Sand Forest Beach, Deokpo Beach, Hakdong Mongdol Beach, Gujora Beach, Mulan Beach, and markets such as Gohyeon Market, Okpo International Market, and Oksu Market.
Participants who collect a set number of stamps will be eligible to apply for a souvenir prize, awarded through a random drawing after the event.
Since March, Geoje has been running a mobile stamp program to encourage travel across its major attractions. With this expanded summer version, the city hopes to extend tourist stays and invigorate local commerce, especially in beachside and market areas.
