The 2025 Oryukdo Tonight long-distance walking festival will take place on March 29-30, offering participants the opportunity to walk overnight along Busan’s Galmaet-gil, from the sunset at Dadaepo Beach to the sunrise at Haeundae Beach.
Now in its 6th year, the event is co-hosted by the Busan Walking Trail Association and Busan I Want to Walk, with sponsorship from Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan Tourism Organization.
The walk follows the slogan: “Experience the five colors and six pleasures of Busan’s night walk.”
Participants can choose from three courses:
Full Course (56km): Starts at Dadaepo Beach, passing through key landmarks such as Eulsukdo, Geumjeongsanseong South Gate, Suyeonggang, and Dongbaekseom, ending at Haeundae Beach. Half Course (22km): Ends at Daejeo Ecological Park. Sunset Course (7km): A shorter evening walk along the sunset path.
The full course route showcases Busan’s diverse landscapes, including mountains, rivers, the sea, and hot springs, covering eight districts: Saha-gu, Gangseo-gu, Buk-gu, Geumjeong-gu, Dongnae-gu, Yeonje-gu, Suyeong-gu, and Haeundae-gu.
Completion certificates and souvenirs, including Wappen badges, will be awarded to finishers. Participation fees are 30,000 won (full course), 20,000 won (half course), and 5,000 won (sunset course).
