The Busan Tourism Organization is developing premium tourism products to position Busan as a top-tier luxury travel destination.
This initiative aligns with the global trend of rising demand for exclusive experiences that go beyond traditional travel.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization are also focusing on attracting high-spending luxury tourists.
Busan’s premium offerings will include 5-star hotel stays, Michelin-starred dining, private gallery and yacht tours, and VIP access to the Busan International Film Festival. These products aim to highlight the city’s cultural, artistic, and marine assets.
The Busan Tourism Organization will launch a 2-night, 3-day premium tourism package next month, targeting both domestic and international travelers.
Lee Jeong-sil, president of the organization, expressed confidence that Busan can transition from a mass tourism hub to a competitive player in the luxury market, emphasizing high-quality service, exclusivity, and unique experiences.
