Busan parks are offering a refreshing escape from the summer heat with the opening of water play facilities and a series of vibrant cultural events.

On July 29, Busan City Mayor Park Heong-jun announced the operation of water play facilities at 22 downtown parks.

Key facilities include the ‘Kid Kid Park’ children’s water park at Children’s Grand Park, open until August 18, and the fountains at Busan Citizens Park and Song Sang-hyun Square, operational until the end of September from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Other parks with water play facilities include Songdo Park, Angel Park, Myeongjin Park, Yongdang Park, Hope Park, Full Sound Park, Daecheoncheon Streamside Park, Peace Park, Eulsukdo Climate Ecological Park, Millak Waterside Children’s Park, Sasang Park, Myongji Neighborhood Park, Signal Park, Urim Park, Jisa Park, Ara Park, Eastern Neighborhood Park, Saemaeul Park, and Pine Tree Park.
