Seoul Forest will host its 2nd Participation Garden Festival and award ceremony on October 9th at 2 p.m., showcasing citizen-created gardens under the theme “A Forest Garden of Rest.”

The festival will highlight two winning garden designs, with guided tours by the creators to share their inspiration and creative process.

Visitors can join free hands-on activities, including “Garden Postcards”, where participants create postcards using autumn flowers, and “Stones Traveling Through the Garden,” an art activity encouraging visitors to paint their impressions of the gardens on small stones. A “Picnic Library” will also be set up, inviting guests to relax and read garden-themed books.

Additionally, the “Citizen Gardeners’ Story” exhibit will feature photos and hands-on activities like making stone arrangements to celebrate the efforts of community gardeners.
