(Anjeong Neighborhood Dog Park)

Grab Fido and head out to some of the great dog parks in the Pyeongtaek area. Each one has different features that will be fun for you and your furry friend, so keep reading to find out more! 1) Anjeong Neighborhood Dog Park

Address: 267 bungil 42 Anjeong soon hanro, Paengseong Eup Pyeongtaek-si  Hours: 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. (Closed Wednesdays, rainy days)

(Anjeong Neighborhood Dog Park)

This is the nearest public dog park to Camp Humphreys, and it’s free to use. It features a spacious area with separate sections for large and small dogs to play. Since it’s maintained by the city, tick control insecticide is regularly applied to the natural grass. The park provides dog waste bags and water bowls, and while the space is modest, it includes some dog toys like Slaadi. Additionally, there’s a children’s playground nearby.

2) Dongsak Pet Public Park

  • Address: 850-3 Dongsak-dong pyeongtaek-si

  • Hours: 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. (Closed Mondays, rainy days, and holidays)

  • Parking- Parking is free in front of Pulon Dongsak Kindergarten (Address: 843-2 Dongsak-dong)

This pet playground, located near Tong Bokcheon Stream, offers a spacious area where multiple dogs can play simultaneously. Only registered dogs are allowed entry, and regular disinfection is carried out every Monday. Dogs must be accompanied by an owner aged 13 or older for supervision. The playground has separate sections for small, medium, and large dogs to enjoy safely.

3) Echeung Pet Public Park

  • Address: 149 Janganut-gill, pyeongtaek-si

  • Hours: 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. (Closed Mondays, rainy days, holidays)

The park is closed every Monday for routine disinfection and remains closed from December to February for safety during the winter months. Before entering, visitors must confirm their use of the dog park and complete a brief registration form. A shaded canopy is available where dogs and their owners can relax.

4) Pyeongtaek Agro Ecological Park with Pet Ground

  • Address: 33-34 Cheongo-ro, Oseong-myeon, Pyeongtaek-si

  • Hours: 9:30 a.m.- 6 p.m. (March-October), 9:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. (November-February), Closed Mondays, New Year Day, Chuseok 평택시농업생태원

This facility features a spacious parking lot and separate areas for small, medium, and large dogs. The dog playground offers a variety of play and training equipment, including climbing, descending, and obstacle courses. There are also water features available for the dogs to enjoy. Admission is free, and the park is closed every Monday.

5) Pyeongtaek West Stadium Cheongbuk-eup

The dog park is large and equipped with a variety of play facilities. There are separate areas for different dog sizes, but aggressive or fighting breeds are not permitted. Before entering, visitors must provide basic   information about the dog and its owner.

6) Shindang Pet Public Park

  • Address:98 Pyeongtaek Hang-ro, Poseung-eup, Pyeongtaek-si

  • Hours: 10 a.m.- 7 p.m. (Closed Mondays and rainy days)

  • Maps: 98 Pyeongtaekhang-ro, Poseung-eup

(Shindang Pet Public Park )

This park is the farthest from Camp Humphreys but is close to Pyeongtaek Port, making it a great spot to enjoy the sea breeze with your dog. It’s a relatively quiet area, ideal for peaceful visits. Located within Shindang Neighborhood Park, it’s perfect for a relaxing walk with your dog, as well as for using the dedicated dog Playground.
