(Gyeongnam province)

Gyeongnam Arboretum’s Fragrance Garden is coming to life with blooming roses, signaling the seasonal shift from late spring to early summer.

The Gyeongnam Forest Environment Research Institute announced that a wide array of roses, ranging in colors like red, pink, and yellow, are now flowering in the garden, offering visitors a vibrant and aromatic experience.

Located near the arboretum’s Wildlife Observation Center in Ibanseong-myeon, Jinju, the Fragrance Garden features a mix of scent-rich plants including lavender and herbs.

Adding to the seasonal charm, a bonsai exhibition showcasing 85 plant species is also on display in the Fragrance Garden through June 1, enhancing the garden’s appeal as a peaceful destination to enjoy nature’s beauty.
