International Yacht Racers set sail in Tongyeong for the 18th Admiral Yi Sun-sin Cup Nov. 6-10

Gyeongnam Province is hosting the 18th Admiral Yi Sun-sin Cup International Yacht Race from November 6 to 10 at the Donam Tourist Complex and Hansan Sea area in Tongyeong.
This year’s race will see approximately 400 participants from 10 countries, including the U.S., China, Japan, and Thailand, competing for a total prize of 52 million won.
Organized by the Gyeongnam Yacht Association and the Admiral Yi Sun-sin Cup Committee, the event begins with registration and measurements on November 6, followed by the opening ceremony at Tongyeong Stanford Hotel on November 8, and three days of racing from November 8 to 10.
Alongside the main event, visitors can enjoy a range of side activities, including free yacht boarding experiences, upcycling workshops, and a wireless yacht experience.
