The Nakdong River Council, consisting of six local governments in the Nakdong River area — Yangsan and Gimhae in Gyeongnam, and Buk-gu, Saha, Gangseo, and Sasang in Busan — has announced the launch of the Nakdong River Spring Flower FESTA.

This event aims to highlight and promote the most beautiful spring flower spots along the Nakdong River, inviting visitors to experience the vibrant colors of the season.

Following the success of last fall’s Nakdong River FESTA, which was held alongside various autumn festivals, the council is bringing back the event with a spring edition.

The goal is to discover hidden floral gems along the Nakdong River and encourage tourism to these breathtaking locations.

To engage the public, a Spring Flower Spot Recommendation Event will be held as a pre-event.

From February 26 to March 5, participants can access the event link via Naver Form and submit their recommendations for the best spring flower locations within the six local governments.

Those who participate will have a chance to win a 10,000 won gift certificate through a raffle. More details can be found on the official SNS accounts of each participating local government.

The spring flower location that receives the most recommendations will be selected as the top spot, and a Visit Certification Event will be held from the end of March to the end of April. Visitors who travel to the selected location, take a photo of themselves enjoying the spring blooms, and upload it to SNS will be entered into a raffle for a 30,000 won gift certificate.

Additionally, an exclusive challenge event will reward participants who visit all six designated spring flower locations and complete SNS certification. Among those who complete the challenge, six lucky winners will be selected via a raffle to receive iPads and AirPods.
