Autumn in Korea is a short but beautiful season, boasting stunning landscapes in vibrant colors and refreshing weather. If you’re one of the lucky ones spending fall in Korea with your family, don’t miss the opportunity to capture incredible seasonal photos.

Expect pink muhly grass, silver grass, pampas grass, cosmos flower and colorful foliage this season. Late September to mid-November is the best time to catch them, so venture out as much as you can!

Here are some spots near the bases in Pyeongtaek and Daegu to enjoy the seasonal foliage and flowers.

NEAR PYEONGTAEK

Anseong Farmland

This popular family destination hosts various autumn flowers, pink muhly, silver grass, and fall foliage, making it a great place for photos.

Pyeongtaek Agro-Ecological Park

The park features seasonal flowers year-round and in the fall is filled with cosmos, yellow chrysanthemum and colorful leaves. No entrance fee.

Jinwicheon Recreation Area

The extensive beautiful cosmos and autumn flower fields make the riverside heavenly and picturesque .No entrance fee.

Oseong Riverside

Enjoy beautiful cosmos and autumn flowers along a peaceful riverside ideal for walking and biking. No entrance fee.

Wonpyeong-naru Park

This park, next to Anseongcheon Stream, is covered in stunning silver grass from October to early November. Don’t miss the annual festival on Oct. 12. The park is about a 10-minute walk from Pyeongtaek Station. No entrance fee.

Baramsae Village

The village has an expansive pink muhly field and flower beds with cosmos, sunflowers and more. The muhly festival runs from late September to mid-November.

Sopung Garden

Located right next to Baramsae Village, you can stroll along the lake surrounded by beautiful autumn foliage. No entrance fee.

NEAR DAEGU

Gasan Supia

A top autumn destination for Daegu and surrounding areas, Gasan Supia has vast fields filled with pink muhly, autumn flowers and foliage.

Eworld

The theme park is home to one of the best orange cosmos fields in Daegu. Take awesome fall photos with the iconic 83 Tower and at the many photo zones around the garden.
