Seoul City, in collaboration with Shinsegae Live Shopping and Seoul Green Trust, has developed a 400㎡ eco-friendly garden named the “Saengsaeng Garden” in Seoul Forest.

This carbon-neutral garden includes four unique sections: Pond Garden, Moss Garden, Forest Garden, and Pollinator Meadow.

Each area is designed to support biodiversity, featuring habitats for small wildlife, natural plantings that absorb carbon, and pathways that connect green spaces.

During the garden’s opening ceremony, over 30 representatives from partnering organizations participated in planting mosses and weaving willow fences as part of a gardening volunteer activity.

The initiative not only enhances habitats but also aims to improve green infrastructure for Seoul residents.
