Tongyeong in Korea to host a series of cultural and artistic festivals in October

Tongyeong City will host a vibrant lineup of cultural and artistic festivals set for October.
The festivities will kick off with the Tongyeong Cultural Heritage Night Walk on October 1-2, an event celebrating Tongyeong’s rich traditional culture and heritage, offering a glimpse into the city’s unique identity.
Following this, the 43rd Tongyeong Arts Festival, organized by the Tongyeong Arts and Culture Association and eight affiliated art organizations, will take place from October 3-6. The festival will showcase various forms of art, adding to the city’s cultural charm.
On October 5, the 21st Tongyeong Song Festival will feature 15 teams from across the nation, with high school students and above competing in the final round to demonstrate their vocal talents.
Additionally, from October 5-9, the 2024 Tongyeong Craft Fair will be held, showcasing collaborative works between artisans and designers.
The fair will also offer hands-on experience programs for visitors to enjoy.
