When staying in a foreign country, buying or renting a car is not always an option. You may find yourself instead hailing a cab to get you to where you need to go. Here are some general Korean phrases to help direct the taxi driver there.
When you want to give directions to a taxi driver, you can use this expression: “(___eulo ga-ju-se-yo.”
For example, if you want to say “Please go to Pyeongtaek station,” you can use this: “(Pyeongtaekyok)eulo ga-ju-se-yo.”
Or you can simply say the phrase without the “eulo”: “(Pyeongtaekyok) ga-ju-se-yo.”
“Please go to ___”
= ___ 으로 가주세요 . (___-eulo ga-ju-se-yo)
(으로 eulo= to, gajuseyo = please go)
