Taxi Michelin Festival meal

(City of Busan)

The 10th edition of the Taxi Michelin gourmet tourism festival concluded on May 18 after a three-day run across Busan’s downtown districts of Jung-gu, Seo-gu, Dong-gu, and Yeongdo.

Hosted by Busan City and the Busan Festival Organizing Committee, the festival combined food, local storytelling, and cultural experiences, drawing around 14,000 visitors.

The event officially began with an opening ceremony on May 16 at the Busan Port International Exhibition & Convention Center. Chef Lee Kyu-jin of the Michelin-selected restaurant Ramsey unveiled a special collaborative dish, “Taxi Michelin Myeongran Marahambak,” which received an enthusiastic response.

Throughout the festival, programs such as guided walking food tours, market-to-table cooking classes, a Michelin taxi ride to local eateries, and nighttime pocha dining by the sea brought Busan’s downtown to life.

The event also released the 2025 Taxi Michelin Guidebook, offering curated food and travel information, available online at festivalbusan.com/taxchelin.
