Candlelight Concert comes to Tongyeong’s Ganggu-an Oct. 12

Tongyeong City will host the renowned Candlelight Concert on Saturday, October 12th at 6 p.m. in Ganggu-an, Tongyeong’s iconic night tourism destination.
Organized by Fever, a global performance company known for its mesmerizing candlelight shows, the event will light up the harbor with thousands of candles, creating an enchanting atmosphere for the audience.
This is the second year Tongyeong is hosting the Candlelight Concert, following last year’s success.
The 65-minute performance will feature Ensemble Tones, a string quartet that will perform popular soundtracks from Pirates of the Caribbean, Avengers, and beloved Studio Ghibli films like Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro.
As part of a national initiative by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the concert will also be held in 10 other cities designated as “Nighttime Tourism Cities.”
Unlike its international counterparts, which require paid tickets, this concert will be free to the public.
Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis, starting 30 minutes before the performance.
