To celebrate its 30th anniversary, KNN will present Cirque du Soleil’s acclaimed production “Kooza” under the Big Top at Shinsegae Centum City in Busan.

The show runs from August 21 to September 28, 2025.

The performance is open to all ages and runs for 130 minutes, including a 25-minute intermission.

This year’s performance will once again be held at the outdoor parking lot of the Shinsegae Department Store Centum City branch, covering an area of approximately 16,515 square meters.

Cirque du Soleil’s performances in Busan are part of a long-term agreement signed in 2023 between the city and domestic organizer Mast International.

The partnership aims to develop the global performance brand as a recurring tourism content event, with annual shows planned through 2030.

Last year marked the return of Cirque du Soleil to the region for the first time in 17 years, with Lucia drawing 75,400 attendees over 31 shows and setting a new box office record for live performance events in Korea.

Nearly half of the audience for Lucia came from outside Busan, including 19% from Gyeongsang Province, 12% from Seoul, and 6% each from Daegu and Ulsan.

Founded in Quebec, Canada in 1984, Cirque du Soleil has performed for over 300 million people worldwide. Korean audiences have previously enjoyed productions such as QuidamAlegriaVarekai, and Kooza New Alegria, with total local attendance surpassing one million.

This year’s KOOZA will bring its signature blend of acrobatics, visual spectacle, and comedic elements to Busan, further establishing the city as a hub for large-scale international cultural events.
