Changwon Leisure Sports Park will host a 4-day keirin cycling event from today to celebrate Chuseok, featuring a total of 74 thrilling races.
Over the first three days, 20 races will take place daily, with 8 in Changwon, 6 in Gwangmyeong, and 6 in Busan.
The event will conclude on September 16th with 14 races — 8 in Changwon and 6 in Busan.
The competition will follow a modified tournament format, with standalone races on the first and third days, preliminary rounds on the second day, and the grand finals on the last day.
This keirin event is expected to generate 4.1 billion won in sales, contributing around 600 million won to local finances.
Changwon Leisure Sports Park plans to host two more 4-day keirin events in the future to further boost sales and support local economic growth.
