(parking lot)

In celebration of the Chuseok holiday, the city of Seoul will offer free access to 59 city-operated public parking lots. This initiative aims to enhance convenience for citizens and support the local economy.

The free parking will be available for five days, from Saturday, September 14 to Wednesday, September 18. The parking lots will be open all day, providing easy and convenient access for everyone.

Key parking locations include spots near Jongmyo Shrine, Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), Cheonggyecheon, and Euljiro, which are all close to popular tourist spots and commercial areas. This will greatly benefit both Seoul residents and tourists during the Chuseok holiday.

Additionally, parking lots in commercial hubs like Suseo Station, Sadang, Bokjeong Station, Sincheon, and Cheonwang Station on the outskirts of Seoul will also be open for free. This initiative is expected to help ease transportation for visitors while also boosting local businesses in commercial and market areas through increased consumer activity.

Districts across Seoul will also participate by opening their public parking lots for free, particularly those near traditional markets, to facilitate smooth access for shoppers during the busy holiday season.

For specific information on free parking periods and operating hours at district-operated parking lots, it’s recommended to check the respective district websites, social media, or portals before heading out.
