The 3rd Seoul Traditional Dance Festival will take place on October 3rd at Namsangol Hanok Village’s Namsan Gugak-dang, marking the first in-person event since the pandemic.

Under the theme “Cheonjijin: Dance that Responds to the People’s Will,” the festival features a mix of traditional and contemporary dance performances.

The event is divided into two segments: at 1 p.m., young artists reinterpret classic dances in “Ji: Rediscovery of Traditional Dance.”

At 4 p.m., renowned dancers will perform royal and folk dances in “Cheon: Soothing the People’s Spirit through Dance.”

Additionally, visitors can enjoy traditional dance lessons and craft experiences throughout the day.

The festival is free to attend, with some events requiring prior registration on the Namsangol Hanok Village website.
