Hwangsan Park

(Yangsan City)

Yangsan City is expanding its wildflower landscapes across a 19.8-hectare riverside walking path that includes Hwangsan Park and the Yangsancheon Stream, aiming to establish itself as a year-round floral destination ahead of the 2026 Visit Yangsan Year.

Beginning this summer, seasonal displays will feature verbena, buckwheat, and sunflowers, followed by over 60,000 chrysanthemums, cosmos, zinnias, and kudzu during the fall chrysanthemum festival from October to November.

Additional floral complexes, including the Sangsahwa and Kkotmuroot areas, are also planned for late next year.

To enhance urban aesthetics, mixed-color petunias are being planted along bridges, underpasses, and streetlights. T

The city will continue to showcase a variety of seasonal flowers throughout the year with angelonia, marigold, mountain ash, and daylilies in summer, and melanpodium, zinnias, and impatiens in fall, transforming Yangsan’s public spaces into vibrant, flower-filled attractions.
