The 27th Geoje Mayor’s Cup National Windsurfing Competition will take place from September 27 to 29 at Jisepo Port in Geoje City.
Co-hosted by Geoje City and the Geoje City Sports Association, and organized by the Geoje City Yacht Association, the event aims to boost the local economy by promoting marine leisure tourism and nurturing top talent in the sport.
Around 350 participants, including athletes and enthusiasts from across the country, will compete in a variety of events, including the Foil category, 5 Mixed Open categories, and 4 Fun & Formula categories. Both individual and team competitions will be held.
The event kicks off with an opening ceremony on the morning of September 28, followed by two days of exciting windsurfing races.
Spectators can enjoy watching the action from the scenic Jisepo Port coastal walking trail, making this a must-see attraction for both tourists and sports fans alike.
