The 2025 F/W Seoul Fashion Week is set to take place from February 6 to 10 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), with the selection process for participating brands ongoing until November.

This year, Seoul City will emphasize brands with a strong sense of originality and potential for global expansion, involving a rigorous evaluation by domestic and international industry experts.

This season’s focus will be on “high-quality diverse styles” and “expanding into overseas markets,” with the city prioritizing creativity and growth potential in its brand selection process. Both designer and corporate brands can apply for programs, which include fashion shows, presentations, off-site shows, and trade shows.

Participating brands will receive comprehensive support, including stage setup, lighting, live streaming, event safety management, and domestic and international marketing efforts. Brands making their debut at Seoul Fashion Week will be eligible for additional support for production costs, models, and hair/makeup expenses.

The off-site show program will allow brands to showcase their work in unique settings outside the main venue, with promotional support via Seoul Fashion Week’s website and social media. Brands hosting off-site shows at city-owned locations will also receive support with venue permits and related coordination.

The presentation program targets fashion industry insiders and will be held at DDP’s Seoul-On Studio or a venue chosen by the brand, with support for inviting key industry figures and managing publicity.

In addition, the trade show will provide designer brands with opportunities to connect with international buyers through business consultation programs, which will be divided into order exhibitions at DDP and a showroom tour across major fashion hubs in Seoul, including Hannam, Seongsu, and Gangnam.

Applications for the various programs have staggered deadlines: designer brands can apply for fashion shows and presentations until November 8, off-site shows until November 11, and trade shows until November 15.

Corporate brand applications are open until November 22 on the Seoul Fashion Week website (www.seoulfashionweek.org).
