The “2024 Seoul XR Festival” will take place on October 18-19 in Seongsu-dong, under the theme “Expanding the Boundaries of Everyday Life.”

This event offers a unique opportunity for people of all ages to experience cutting-edge XR (Extended Reality) technology, combining virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR).

The festival will feature 12 interactive experiences, allowing visitors to try out the latest XR devices and immerse themselves in various activities.

Highlights include an MR virtual pet experience where participants can interact with a digital dog, an XR escape room with horror and adventure themes, AR makeup tailored to personal colors, and projection mapping brain games. The event also features advanced Korean-made XR devices such as AR glasses and holograms.

Divided into three themed areas — personal, lifestyle, and spatial expansion — the festival will offer a wide range of activities, from disaster response training to fitness games in VR. It aims to engage everyone, from those new to XR technology to dedicated enthusiasts.

Admission is free, and anyone interested can visit Space Wadiz in Seongsu-dong during the festival hours.
